Baylor University seeks an outstanding person to become Disability Advisor for the Office of Access and Learning Accommodations.

 

Position Description:

This position specifically supports the mission by of the university working with students, faculty, and staff to ensure that academic accommodations are implemented, allowing access to all programs; Providing support to students with disabilities through mentoring and appropriate adjustments; Counseling students on health issues as they relate to disabilities (health issues might include the impact of disabilities on major life activities, overall wellness, and the management of time).

 

The selected candidate will have knowledge and experience working with student with disabilities. Experience in counseling and in a higher education environment is preferred. The selected candidate will have excellent oral and written communication and will be able interact with student with varying needs.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree and one years of relevant work experience is required. Demonstrated Christian faith is required.
