Associate/Assistant Registrar

The associate registrar manages the day-to-day operational functions of the Registrar's office and coordinates staff efforts to provide centralized services essential to the entire student body, alumni, faculty, and staff across the academic community.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
This position plays the key role in policies, strategies and best practices related to catalog and schedule management, student registration, classroom scheduling and the intersection of these efforts to support successful course offering needs for students and faculty. Additionally, this position aids in new student orientation scheduling, transfer credit and the petitioning process, and reporting/analytics for the registrar team.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. 3-5 years progressive experience with registrar/student systems in a higher education setting. Knowledge of office and university policies and procedures. Comfort and experience with college credit and curriculum. Understanding of FERPA regulations. Demonstrated experience analyzing, interpreting, and applying academic policies and procedures. Solid knowledge and use of Banner student software; Schedule/Resource25, and other reporting tool experience preferred. Ability in Microsoft Office products and other tools to manipulate information.
