Catalog and Scheduling Coordinator

Working under the general direction of the Registrar and registrar staff, the catalog and scheduling coordinator is responsible for the effective processing and maintenance of the course catalog from a database perspective, the campus master course scheduling efforts, and efficient classroom space utilization critical to the learning environment and academic mission of the university.
Qualifications
Precise knowledge of office and university policy and procedures; comfort and experience with student registration and curriculum. Must be able to research, analyze, and develop solutions to complex academic classroom space issues that impact the campus. Proficient use of Banner student software and comfort with systems in general. Must have the ability to understand interconnectedness of accuracy of systems, policies and service. Strong organizational skills to ensure that all registrar's office responsibilities are carried out on appropriate, and shortened, timetables. Demonstrated critical thinking, planning, problem-solving and interpretive skills to analyze situations, define problems, identify concerns, develop and propose solutions. Ability to work with variety of constituencies and explain complex rule-based systems with a high degree of service and compassion. Appreciation of student privacy and understanding of FERPA regulations.
