Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) is proud to be Ohio’s first and largest community college. Teaches a full range of courses in visual communications and design for print, web and interactive media.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in design or related field.
• Ability to teach Web Publishing HTML, Site Theory/Construct, Animation for Web & Media, Media Rich Websites and Interactive Media.
• Proficiency in communication and presenting.
• Proficiency in design industry standard software.
• 2 years industry and/or teaching experience
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree in a related field.
• Online portfolio.
• Minimum of 2 years College level teaching experience and/or minimum of 2 years recent relevant professional work in a graphic design related field.
• Experience designing and teaching using a course management system (CMS) such as Blackboard.
• Experience teaching/working in a diverse environment.
• Membership in local and professional organizations directly related to the field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

SPECIAL NOTE:
This is a full-time tenure track faculty opportunity for the academic year beginning August (Fall) 2013. The academic year (Fall and Spring semesters) is 36 weeks in duration; summer contracts are issued separately.
