UMA has a second campus located in Bangor, a city located in the heart of Maine. Bangor offers residents, and visitors alike, the best of both worlds: a friendly city that's filled with excitement, opportunity and activity, and serves as a gateway to the natural beauty of Maine. Known for its high-quality student support services and strong, caring faculty, UMA serves a mix of both traditional and non-traditional students and offers a wide array of educational programs including certificates, Associate’s degrees, and Baccalaureate degrees. UMA has a rich history in distance education and has a strong support system in place to facilitate course design and delivery. Educational programs are delivered through a network of University centers and sites located in eight regions of the state, via many distance education modalities, including statewide interactive television, video conferencing, and web-based instruction.
