The University of Maine at Augusta is one of seven universities in the University of Maine System. The University of Maine at Augusta seeks applications from qualified candidates for a full-time Academic Librarian: Head of Off-Campus Library Services. The employee will have interest and experience in overseeing an off-campus library services program. The Head of OCLS will help improve integration of library services within the courses and programs offered to students who take courses via distance learning modalities and at Centers across Maine. The individual will advocate for distance students at the UMS Library Director’s Council and will be focused on adding value to the UMS college experience. She or he will be part of the team that provides direct instruction and reference assistance to distance students using multiple modalities.
