The Department of Communication and Journalism seeks an exceptional teacher for a tenure-track position.

The department takes a hands-on approach to the industry; first-class facilities in the Mullican Television Studio support active student learning experiences. The award-winning LUmination Network student news service, comprising television, radio and new media, is a hallmark of the department. Top-notch faculty and media practitioners lead the way for a dynamic educational experience for students. The candidate must hold a Ph.D.; a mix of industry and academic experience is preferable. Teaching responsibilities will include courses in persuasion, public relations, communication research, cross-cultural communication, and communication law. Rank is open.

Lipscomb is located in Nashville, Tenn., the nation’s 27th largest city and ranked as one of the five friendliest cities in America. Study-abroad programs include offerings in Vienna, London, Beijing, Hong Kong and Santiago, Chile. Lipscomb's intercollegiate athletic teams compete at the NCAA Division I level.
