The Department of Art at Lipscomb University invites applications from exceptionally qualified candidates for a full-time, two-year position in graphic design to begin August, 2013. The department offers degrees in graphic design, studio art, visual arts administration, visual arts teaching, and art therapy.
The successful candidate will provide leadership for the graphic design program. Candidates will be expected to develop online coursework. Much freedom will be given to the successful candidate in shaping the graphic design program to meet the demands of the graphic design industry.
An MFA is required with 3-5 years of professional experience demonstrating expertise in all levels of graphic design found in an undergraduate setting. University level teaching experience with proficiency in a learning management system is also preferred.
The position requires a commitment to teaching excellence. Rank is open and salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. The position is based remotely, but candidate must reside within the U.S.
