Albion College seeks an energetic, self-motivated team member to focus on alumni chapter development and programming. The Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement reports directly to the Executive Director of Alumni Engagement and is responsible for assisting in engaging the 23,000 alumni of Albion College. S/he will manage all Alumni Chapters, including recruiting and cultivating alumni volunteers, guiding them in the planning and implementation of programs and events; oversee alumni web page and social media presence; and coordinate several significant special events within the Alumni office. This is a full-time, salaried position. Weekend and evening availability is essential as is the ability to travel.
Qualifications Include:
•Bachelor's degree required.
•Two to three years of experience in alumni relations, annual fund, volunteer management, marketing or public relations in college or non-profit setting.
•Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to balance and move forward multiple projects.
•Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
