POSITION SUMMARY:
Coordinates activities associated with the maintenance of medical records or X-ray films: assists in assigning work to members of a group; trains new employees; performs any or all duties normally ascribed to the group.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
Performs duties described in basic classification description(s), requiring experience in methods and procedures.
Assists in scheduling and assigning work; checks completed work as required; ensures that departmental standards for quality and quantity are met.
Orients, trains and instructs new employees.
Assists in special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School graduation plus 3-4 years related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
