Position Title: Grounds Foreman (Req. #0608345)
Position Description: Physical Plant-Landscape and Grounds Maintenance. Supervise grounds crews to ensure a clean, safe environment for students, faculty, and staff.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree (additional experience may substitute for some of the education requirement); three or more years of work related experience (additional education may substitute for some of the experience requirement); ability to maintain confidentiality; knowledge of safety procedures relative to chemical usage; equipment usage and operating vehicles and equipment; ability to perform basic math computations; proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Applications software, including word processing, spreadsheets and databases; proof of a valid driver’s license prior to employment; effective communication (verbal and written), organization and human relations skills; ability to work well in a diverse environment; successful completion of background investigation prior to employment.
Preferred Qualifications: Arborist Certification; Pesticides Applicator's license; Georgia Certified Landscape Professional (GCLP); knowledge of landscaping equipment fleet management; knowledge of National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) guidelines for layout and installation of intramural athletic fields.
Salary Range: Commensurate with Experience
