Vice President, Administrative Services (#9362) UP
Responsible for the financial planning of the College. Projects income and expenditures, analyzes and coordinates budget development within the College budget allocation. Monitors and controls expenditures within guidelines established by System policies and limitations.
Responsible for fiscal accountability for the College, including final responsibility for all financial transactions, record keeping, report preparation, inventory control, financial and personnel/payroll document control while using System policy and procedures for decision making.
Responsible for the following operations at LSC-University Park: Facility planning and operations; Business Services; Human Resources; Print/Copy Center; Vending and Food Services; Construction of new facilities and renovations; Campus expansion and development; Serves as College liaison to campus bookstore contractor.
Interprets and ensures compliance with applicable college System policy and procedures and state and federal laws.
Works with the Vice Chancellor of Administration and Finance and the other Vice Presidents of Administrative Services to develop system-wide protocols for administrative services.
Creates and maintains positive community interaction and partnerships, both internal and external, including attendance at regional and national professional organizations.
Serves as a member of the President's Cabinet and the System-wide Administrative Council, and college or system wide committees as appropriate. In addition, assists the president, as requested, in the development and review of policies to be recommended to the System's Executive Council.
Serves as Chief Ethics Officer for the College.
Serves as College liaison with System Office of General Counsel.
Advises College President regarding strategic initiatives and planning.
Responsible for other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in directly related field.
At least 10 years of related experience.
Master’s degree in directly related field.
Commensurate with education and experience
