Job Functions:
Make decisions concerning policies and procedures; serve as student advocate at college and district meetings.
Evaluate and improve services to students.
Direct admissions and registration process; prepare related reports.
Maintain an accessible program for which students can receive academic advisement, and career/personal counseling.
Provide support to the Financial Aid office.
Plan out-of-classroom experiences; advise student organizations.
Support retention and recruitment by corresponding with students and helping them develop their schedules.
Create campus brochures highlighting student services.
Enforce college policies and procedures. Help create a safe and pleasant learning environment.
Plan and/or coordinate special projects involving student services.
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in a field of education, preferably Guidance or Student Personnel.
Minimum of five years full-time student services experience, preferably three years experience at a Program Director level.
Salary:
Commensurate with experience
