Responsible for developing/administering policies and procedures, budgetary decisions, extensive scope/impact of decisions on both internal and external contacts. This level position will be responsible for a subdivision/sub-unit of a department.
Position is located in the College of Continuing and Professional Education which serves approximately 20,000 students on an annual basis by offering educational training opportunities which include professional certificates in paralegal, healthcare, human resources, computer training, web design, foreign languages, ESL, TESOL, as well as summer camps and leisure programs.
Seeking a highly- qualified individual to lead the College of Continuing and Professional Education's marketing team to produce brand recognizable marketing pieces to promote programs offered by the college. Forms of marketing include but are not limited to: production of a quarterly catalog that is distributed to approximately 1 million homes each year, brochures, flyers, editorials, media relations activities and the development of a speaker's bureau.
The Director of Marketing will serve as an administrative liaison between the marketing and programming departments and Dean of the college to ensure continuity of marketing objectives and brand messaging. Individual must be able to analyze program specific tracking information to measure marketing ROI and work with their team to develop effective tracking mechanisms.
The Director of Marketing will work with the Dean and leadership team to develop an annual marketing campaign for the college. Experience in developing a successful mail distribution plan, conducting market research and managing multiple budgets a plus.
Position will typically report to work between the hours of 8:00am- 5:00pm but will be required to work additional hours based on the needs of the business. The Director of Marketing will be expected to participate in bi-annual graduations, bi-annual career training expos, Olli socials and other special events as determined throughout the year.
Candidates selected for interviews must be prepared to present a portfolio of marketing pieces or campaigns developed under their supervision or direction.

Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years comparable/related experience; management/supervisory skills are required.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with Adobe Indesign a plus.
