Fielding Graduate University, a global community of scholar-practitioners engaged in graduate education and research to advance individuals, organizations, and communities, seeks a professional Recruiter/Admission Advisor for Graduate Programs. This position is based in Santa Barbra, CA and is not budgeted for relocation assistance.
This individual performs the following functions:
• initiates and coordinates recruitment and admission activities to attract, admit, and enroll prospective students to the University
• participates in outreach and recruitment efforts and responds to inquiries, providing program information and quality admission advising
• serves as the primary point of contact for persons interested in graduate degree program offerings, and proactively develops positive relationships with prospective students and applicants
• works closely with academic program, admission and marketing staff to achieve targeted enrollment goals
The successful candidate will evidence an understanding of recruitment best practices and/or professional sales techniques, be highly organized, have strong written and verbal skills, be able to set priorities effectively, establish and meet essential deadlines, and manage multiple projects and constituents simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office & database applications, strong student/prospect relations orientation, excellent interpersonal skills, superior attention to detail and BA required; Masters degree and experience in higher education or professional sales preferred.
