Teach and develop courses in risk analysis, critical infrastructure protection, law, and policy within the context of a well-established homeland security program. Primary tasks include course development, teaching courses, and relationship building with external organizations and agencies, internship management and advising. Teaching obligations include 12 undergraduate credit hours per semester with possible graduate and online obligations. Teaching areas require flexibility in order to cover a variety of courses that will include homeland security courses. Other essential duties include scholarship, general curriculum development, and committee participation as well as other duties designed to support the homeland security program. This is a nine-month position, renewed annually, with the possibility of summer teaching assignments.
