Position Description
In accordance with the Department of Imaging Sciences protocols and procedures will perform functions associated with patient information processing for ambulatory care visits. Employee is a member of the clinical service team and as such is fully integrated into divisional workflows and reporting structure. Monitors and ensures that all functions are completed in an accurate, efficient, and customer friendly manner. Monitors and ensures the tasks of reception, registration, scheduling, medical records management and telephone management. Responsible for accurate timely input of collected information into the Hospital and department information systems. Monitors and ensures patient and staff satisfaction with information processing and reception service. Support clinical staff in a multitude of tasks. Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
High school diploma and 4 years related work experience; or an equivalent, medical terminology, office training and experience. Exceptional customer service skills. Experienced with Microsoft Office and possess the ability to rapidly assimilate and retain multiple complex workflows and computer applications, ability to type accurately.
