The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey is seeking a visiting faculty position in the new degree, the Bachelor of Science in Health Science (BSHS) beginning September 2013.
Health Science majors are provided with a quality, contemporary, pre-health professional education that is underpinned by the Core Competencies of Inter professional (IP) Collaborative Practice. Health Science students receive faculty guidance in constructing a robust curriculum that will meet their individualized educational or career goals.
Successful candidates will be strongly committed to both the liberal arts and to IP collaboration in healthcare. Candidates who are broadly educated in an area of healthcare that complements and enriches the IP composition of the BSHS faculty. Clinical experience preferred.
The successful candidate will have an earned doctorate (a Ph.D. or equivalent); previous college/university teaching experience preferred. Teaching, scholarship, and service responsibilities will be consistent with the college and school standards.
Salary commensurate with experience.
