Experience in geospatial technology and the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

Job Duties

Researches the impact of climate change on natural and human Arctic environments and assists the PI in the development an Arctic sustainability program.

Utilizes geographic technology including: Geographic Information Systems (GIS) remote sensing and spatial statistics to conduct research.

Assists the PI in research planning and execution.

Disseminates information through conference presentation and scientific publications.

Performs other work related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
