The Assistant Director, Fast Track MBA Programs is responsible for planning, delivery, and overall administration of the blended learning Fast Track MBA program. Specifically responsible for the daily administration of operations and for contributing to a high quality student experience which is achieved by working closely with the Senior Associate Director, Fast Track MBA, Director of Graduate Programs, Fast Track Faculty Director, Administrative Coordinator, students, clients, administration, distance learning partner, and faculty to deliver quality MBA experiences and determine opportunities for improvement; and working closely with the Senior Associate Director, Fast Track MBA, Director of Graduate Programs, and Fast Track Faculty Director in planning, organizing, and conducting the activities connected with delivering all aspects of blended learning MBA program.

Key Responsibilities:
Program Administration and Development:
Collaborates with the Senior Associate Director, Fast Track MBA, Fast Track Faculty Director, Blended Learning, and Director of Graduate Programs in strategic planning and implementation, program development, graduate school policy formulation and enforcement, course planning, and curriculum development.
Responsible for all program management aspects associated with the Fast Track program.
Manages and administers the Fast Track MBA program, with an understanding of the objectives, criteria, and format established by the Graduate School. This includes meeting with the Senior Associate Director, Fast Track MBA, Director of Graduate Programs, Fast Track Faculty Director, faculty, corporate clients, and distance learning providers on a regular basis, setting and assessing program goals, and making ongoing changes and adjustments.
Participates in developing and recommending policies, plans, and procedures that positively affect program administration, delivery, and effectiveness. Reports and makes recommendations on issues affecting the graduate programs, such as policies, class size, scheduling, teaching assignments, and curriculum matters.
Creates and maintains the academic program calendar for cohorts managed.
Serves as primary liaison with the distance learning partner on the design, creation and maintenance of digital content. Manages the programs' Blackboard sites and serves as primary contact with GSBL and ITSD for Blackboard issues and all other issues associated with electronic content and additionally helps orient new faculty to the blended learning format and technology.
Serves as primary liaison with Babson Executive Conference Center (BECC) to plan meeting rooms and logistics and serves as primary contact with BECC Sales and Event Planning staff to secure classrooms and for all issues associated with classroom space.
Manages student compliance with College and Graduate School policies and procedures and their understanding thereof.
Assists San Francisco Assistant Director with corresponding program delivery tasks including program schedule creation, course set-up, and course material ordering.
Assists with implementation of co-curricular program, orientations, and specialty courses.
Manages and maintains the curriculum materials and documents such as the schedules, cases, course materials, and online content critical to program integrity and success. Contributes to the preparation of various publications including the Graduate Handbook, admit packet, and deposit materials for incoming students.
Serves on College-wide and Graduate School Committees as assigned.

Student Services and Advising:
Manages academic advising for remote student population.
Advises students on academic, financial, and personal matters, referring students to appropriate personnel and campus departments as necessary. Monitors the academic progress, academic deficiencies, and retention of students. Counsels prospective and current Fast Track MBA students
Assumes additional responsibilities as required.

Education Requirements:
Minimum Level of Education Required: Master's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience

Position Knowledge/Skills & Abilities Requirements:
• At least 4-6 years of experience, preferably in an academic setting
• Program management expertise
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to present a professional demeanor at all times
• Excellent interpersonal and customer focus skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to successfully perform multiple tasks
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook/Calendar)
• Previous experience working in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to appropriately prioritize tasks and adjust to changing priorities
• Ability to work with culturally ethnically, culturally, and socially diverse students, staff, faculty, and other constituencies
• Ability to take initiative and complete tasks with minimal supervision

Working Conditions:
Requires monthly evening and weekend hours in conjunction with program events; requires willingness to travel

Additional Experience, Skills & Abilities:
• Master's degree in business or education preferred
