The University of Michigan Rackham Graduate School Dean’s Office is recruiting a new Program Evaluation Specialist to provide high-level financial and enrollment research analyses to the dean, associate and assistant deans for ongoing initiatives to improve the quality of graduate education, graduate degree completion, and diversity among our 7,500+ graduate students.
As an integral member of the Rackham Deans Office, the selected candidate will work in close collaboration with staff in Rackham Institutional Research, Budget and Accounts, and Fellowships to perform high-level research, detailed data analyses, and modeling; interpret data to draw accurate conclusions and make recommendations about future directions; forecast, compare, and evaluate the impact of various options for future strategic planning, policy decisions and commitments of the Graduate School; conduct special statistical studies; and write reports to effectively summarize and describe possible options and recommendations.
Master’s degree in Social Sciences or equivalent work experience and a minimum of 3-5 years of progressively responsible professional or administrative experience as a researcher, financial or business analyst in a higher education setting are required. PhD preferred. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, who can build collegial relationships with faculty and staff inside the Graduate School and across the University.
