The Business Department of Averett University seeks an experienced instructor to teach undergraduate business courses in human resources management, leadership, strategic management, and organizational behavior, as well as in the more quantitative areas of Operations Management, Business Forecasting, and Quantitative Techniques. This is a tenure-track position at a level commensurate with the experience and credentials of the successful candidate. Candidates must have an earned doctorate in business administration (PhD or DBA) with strengths in the content areas offered, to include a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in management, in addition to significant experience in business environments. Preference will be given to applicants with leadership potential, an interest in new course and program development, and experience teaching in face-to-face as well as online modalities. Course requirements for this position are through the main campus of Averett University in Danville, Virginia.
