Job Description
The Computer Science Department at Montclair State University seeks adjunct faculty applicants to teach CMPT109 Introduction to Computer Applications: Being Fluent with Information Technology. Faculty will work within a large program of faculty dedicated to providing strong hands-on information technology instruction to a diverse range of learners. Course content includes: hardware basics, software applications, productivity applications (spreadsheets and databases), web technology, multimedia, networking, security, privacy concerns, social and ethical implications. Classes are capped at 26 students.

Qualifications & Requirements
Earned Masters in Computer Science or Information Technology or closely related field. Record of success teaching first year information technology in a diverse, multi-ethnic environment is strongly preferred.

Salary Range Salary is determined to state contract: $3,600 per course.
