This is a non-tenure track lecturer position. This full-time instructor/Medical Laboratory Science Program Director will be responsible for teaching Clinical Laboratory Science courses. In addition, The Program Director will be responsible for the administration, continuous review, planning and development of the Medical laboratory Science Program. The Program Director shall have knowledge of education methods and current accreditation and certification procedures. Service duties will include assisting with advising registration, orientation activities, advisory board activities and alumni events.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):
-Minimum of an MS Degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences or related area (must have degree by the time of appointment, September 2013)
-Current certification as a Medical Technologist or medical Laboratory Scientist by a nationally recognized credentialing body such as ASCP
-Minimum of three years experience in teaching at the undergraduate level
-The ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
Other Considerations:
-Doctoral degree preferred
-Experience with the accreditation processes of the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) preferred
-Commitment to teaching and professional excellence
