Gastrointestinal and Liver Pathologist
The Department of Pathology, Immunology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine invites applications for a faculty position at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level (tenure track or non-tenure accruing, clinical track).
Primary responsibilities will involve service and clinical teaching in surgical pathology and with subspecialty expertise in gastrointestinal pathology. The University of Florida /Shands Health Care affiliated institutions present a rich diversity of inpatient and outpatient clinical material. The successful applicant will contribute to medical student, resident and fellowship training in accredited programs within Pathology including gastrointestinal pathology. Scholarly study and investigation in the applicant’s area of interest is expected. Rank and salary are negotiable, commensurate with experience.
Minimum Requirements: Applicants must have an M.D. or D.O. degree, certification in Anatomic Pathology or AP/CP.
Preferred Qualifications: Fellowship training in GI/Liver pathology is preferred.
