The Department of Social Work at Kutztown University invites applications for a full-time temporary position for 2013-2014 academic year to teach a range of courses in a joint BSW/MSW program. Successful applicant should be able to teach field education graduate and undergraduate courses. Teaching responsibilities include acting as a field faculty liaison for graduate and undergraduate interns. Other teaching responsibilities may be assigned as needed. The position requires availability to our students participating in the weekday as well as the weekend executive schedules.
Required qualifications include a minimum of an MSW degree with two years of post-MSW practice and at least one year of college teaching experience. Doctorate in social work with a graduate level teaching record is preferred. Demonstrated community service and scholarship is expected. Successful interview and demonstration of teaching effectiveness in field education are required.
