Provides analytical support to the Chair and MSO of the Department of Cognitive Sciences and handles processes related to: department academic affairs and operations; academic personnel and graduate student program management and recruitment; financial budget preparation, planning, and analysis; and academic program administration. Facilitates contract/grant proposal preparation and submission, develops and maintains department website, and maintains effective and excellent communication with officials, organizations, and individuals from the School, campus, external agencies, and the general public.
Incumbent must possess exceptional organizational skills, and superb analytical and problem solving ability. Incumbent must possess ability to handle numerous responsibilities, maintain professionalism in all aspects of duties and interactions with personnel, staff, community members, and students in an effort to meet department goals and objectives.
Salary: Hourly $19.59
Work Schedule: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., M-F
Career position.
Additional working hours may be necessary to meet department goals and objectives. Other duties as assigned.
