Position Summary:
Provide athletic training services to local schools and collegiate institutions at the Penfield Clinic. Provide prevention, conditioning and re-conditioning and rehabilitation for athletic injuries in the clinical setting under the direction of a physician in collaboration with other medical and allied health professionals. Performs services related to Injury Prevention, Post Rehabilitation Conditioning, and Performance Enhancement programs.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, or Bachelor's degree in a related field with internship route certification in Athletic Training (Master's degree in same or related field desirable); National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of certification, NATABOC certification as an Athletic Trainer, New York State licensure as an athletic trainer. Requires employee to maintain all requirements required by Strong Memorial Hospital/Strong Health as a condition of employment, including but not limited to completion of annual health update, completion of annual mandatory in-service, and performance requirements.
