Position Summary
The primary function and role of the tutor is to provide students with academic support relative to their assignments for their Intro to Computers courses. Professional tutors are full-time or adjunct LSCS instructors or community residents who hold at least an Associate’s degree in one of the tutoring areas provided and who possess knowledge of diagnostic/prescriptive learning.
Required Qualifications
Associate’s degree or higher in one of the tutoring areas provided.
Salary
$11.20 to $21.00 per hour, depending on qualifications. (Not to exceed 19.5 hours per week.) Opportunities for tutor certification allow for pay rate increases.
