Position Summary
Adjunct instructors are hired in a part-time capacity on a contingent basis upon the needs of the LSC System. Hours will vary depending on class time. Instructors are required to meet with classes at all scheduled times. Lone Star College System accepts application material year-round from qualified applicants willing to teach on a part-time basis. Adjunct (part-time faculty hiring is bases on student demand. We offer day, evening online and weekend classes. classes are offered at various times and locations during the academic year.
Required Qualifications
At least 3 years of documented experience working or teaching in a related field.
License or appropriate teaching certifications required when teaching courses regulated by a licensing body or certifying authority.
Salary
$31.20 or $37.80 per contact hour, depending on experience. (Not to exceed 19.5 hours per week.)
