The University of Chicago Student Health and Counseling Service (SHCS) is seeking a Student Health Insurance Coordinator to be responsible for the process management, communication, patient resolution and data management for the University Student Health Insurance Plan (U-SHIP). The position requires someone who is able to collaborate with several departments to ensure smooth processes throughout the insurance plan year while facilitating enhancement and implementation of the annual online U-SHIP student enrollment and waiver process. The Student Health Insurance Coordinator will play a key role in the competitive bid processes for U-SHIP and the optional insurance plans and serve on the Student Health Advisory Board to ensure patient feedback is a regular part of the health insurance benefits provided to students and their families.
