Position Information:
To provide general office and administrative support for the Graduate Program office. Provide support and assistance with all activities related to student recruitment, admission, academic advisement, retention, scholarship allocation and graduation of Graduate Students.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum two years' experience in an academic environment

Experience in marketing and outreach in student affairs or career services

Excellent oral and written communication skills. Composition skills including the correct usage of English grammar, spelling and punctuation.

Must be accurate with meticulous attention to detail

Skill and proficiency using Microsoft Office software and the internet

Skill in working effectively under time and workload pressures while handling multiple tasks with conflicting priorities and frequent interruptions.

Ability to take initiative in fulfilling responsibilities and anticipating the needs of the Graduate Program Office staff

Ability to work independently and exercise discretion and sound judgment

Customer service oriented and strive to provide excellent service to prospective, admitted and enrolled students

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and demanding time schedules in a pleasant and professional manner

Preferred Qualifications:
UCR SIS+ and Grad SIS systems

Knowledge of UC graduate student admissions and recruitment policies
