Tenure-track Assistant Professor in Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics at the University of West Georgia invites applications for a
tenure-track Assistant Professor in Statistics to begin in August 2013.

A doctoral degree in Statistics or a doctoral degree in Mathematics with a strong background in Statistics is required. Priority will be given to candidates in Statistics. Applicants must have an outstanding research record, and demonstrated teaching success in Statistics. The teaching load is nine hours per semester. Up to three years of credit toward promotion and tenure is possible depending on prior experience.
