Recruit, interview and place a high volume of non-exempt and exempt candidates for a variety of positions in both academic and administrative departments on campus. Interview candidates, assess skills and background, make recommendations to hiring managers and prepare new hire paperwork. Manage resumes and applications utilizing an electronic resume management system. Represent the university at job fairs, social service agencies and other recruitment events. Research, develop and facilitate a variety of professional development and skill based training programs for the university community.
Required Skills:
B.A./B.S. or equivalent, and two to three years of high volume recruiting experience, excellent interpersonal skills, working knowledge of employment law, strong computer experience, strong presentation skills, and high degree of confidentiality.
