The Internal Audits department assists Temple University in effectively accomplishing its mission and assists the Board of Trustees to exercise its fiduciary responsibility by rendering objective appraisals, analyses, suggestions, counsel and other information. Reporting to the Director of Internal Audits, the Administrative Manager has responsibility for general oversight of the office and completes administrative tasks including receiving and directing incoming calls, drafting correspondence, creating and maintaining database and spreadsheet files, monitoring all budgetary paperwork and ordering supplies. The Administrative Manager is also the timekeeper for the department. The Administrative Manager performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of four years of directly related experience. Demonstrated experience performing administrative support functions including preparing correspondence, maintaining calendars, screening incoming calls, and arranging meetings, conferences and travel. Demonstrated experience managing budgets. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills and Abilities:
*Ability to serve as liaison to the offices of the President, the Vice Presidents and Deans, the Secretary to the Board of Trustees, the Provost and all other executive University offices.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to craft and edit written documents with grammatical correctness.
*Ability to manage and reconcile the budget.
*Detail orientation is required.
*Excellent customer service skills as evidenced by responsiveness to requests and a courteous demeanor at all times .
*Ability to maintain confidentiality.
*Ability to make travel arrangements, manage calendars and schedule meetings.
*Ability to perform duties efficiently, with accuracy and in a timely manner within a deadline driven environment.
*Will perform other functions or special projects in support of Internal Audits, assuring the smooth and efficient operation of daily activities.
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and to prioritize appropriately and effectively.
*Ability to supervise student workers.

Preferred:
*Proficiency with Access and Powerpoint .
*Experience using Cognos, Kronos, TeamMate and ACL is preferred.
