Keuka College is the nationally recognized leader in experiential learning.

Keuka College invites nominations and applications for the position of Vice President for College Advancement. The College seeks an experienced advancement professional to lead its development and constituent relations programs.

In Winter of 2013, the College will complete a comprehensive and transformative strategic plan and anticipates conducting a capital campaign to fund the strategic plan. This campaign will be in support of academic programs, scholarships, capital improvements and the endowment. The College is growing, highly competitive and well positioned to implement its transformative strategic plan.

Located in Keuka Park, Yates County New York (population 25,000), the College's picturesque campus sits on the banks of Keuka Lake and offers the best of resort life and small town ambiance. Ample cultural, sports and entertainment opportunities are available in this family-friendly region located in New York’s beautiful Finger Lakes region.

For nearly 122 years, Keuka College, a private, co-educational institution has provided students with a strong liberal arts education. The College serves students from diverse social, cultural, ethnic, and racial backgrounds from the Beautiful Finger Lakes region, across the nation, and internationally by offering 33 undergraduate and 7 distinct graduate programs.

With a current enrollment of approximately 1875 students in New York and another 3,200 abroad, the College has ambitious plans for growth that must be fueled by charitable investment. President John Dr. Jorge Diaz-Herrera is providing outstanding leadership, steering the College through a strategic planning process that will be transformative to the College. Now, he, faculty and staff, and the Board of Trustees are setting a bold course for even greater success in the future. The next Vice President for College Advancement will need to be an experienced fundraising professional and exceptional team leader who can work with the President, an engaged Board of Directors, and lead the advancement team. Volunteer leadership, particularly the Board of Trustees and the alumni council, is highly committed and the advancement team has deep commitment to the College.

The successful candidate must be a person with a strong track record of building and managing a growing advancement program. In addition, the new Vice President will be a person with a strong record of personal engagement and achievement in major gifts and campaigns. Ten years or more of progressively responsible and successful fundraising experience, preferably in higher education is desired. Candidates with comprehensive experience building annual, major and planned gift programs, leading campaigns, and working c00peratively with a Board of Trustees, are highly valued for this position. The successful candidate will display unusual ability to build effective relationships with a diverse group of key constituents and will demonstrate success in building teams and inspiring performance excellence.
