The School of Computing in the College of Computing and Digital Media (CDM) at DePaul University in Chicago invites applicants for a full-time tenure-track position in one of the most comprehensive and vibrant Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) programs in the country.
While all candidates with expertise in HCI or user-experience design are encouraged to apply, we are particularly interested in those with specializations in social computing, mobile and ubiquitous computing, and interaction design (including gestural interaction).
Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent. Candidates without a terminal degree may be eligible for adjunct or full-time non-tenure track positions and are encouraged to apply.
DePaul values teaching and continued scholarship in the field. Active involvement in the future development of the HCI and Interactive and Social Media (ISM) programs at CDM is expected. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
