Position Summary
Provides learning activities and support that lead to the achievement of course objectives and contribute to the educational environment of the Lone Star College System and the community. Responsibilities include learning facilitation, personal and professional development, and institutional and community service. Primary functions are to plan, develop, schedule and teach courses within the curriculum in a manner that facilitates student learning, success and preparation for the workforce.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience.
Must have completed a 30 hour course on teaching adult learners.
Must have and maintain a LMTI designation-Licensed Massage Therapy Instructor by the national or state organization.
Preferred Qualifications
Two years massage experience and some teaching experience.
Salary
Starting salary is commensurate with educational qualifications and experience.
