MAF JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary
The Marriage and Family Therapy (MAF) Department at the Adler School of Professional Psychology is seeking a full-time professor for our growing masters’ degree program. The MAF Department is committed to training not only high quality couples and family therapists but also socially responsible practitioners.
The primary responsibilities for this position are teaching MAF courses, advising/mentoring students, serving on faculty committees and scholarship. Faculty members also have the opportunity to serve on dissertation committees for doctoral students.
Work Schedule
Faculty members are on campus four days per week during the semester. The fifth day of the week is reserved for clinical work in the community.
Qualifications
Doctoral Degree in MFT or the equivalent. ABD will be considered.
Primary interest in teaching, mentoring and training
Commitment to the Adler mission of socially-responsible clinicians
License in MFT or eligible for licensure
Experience with clinical supervision
