Job Description Summary:
Full-time position involving grounds maintenance and general landscaping.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
A valid Georgia driver’s license required.
Perform semi-skilled tasks of a physically demanding nature with some degree of independence.
Must be able to bend, lift (min. 50 lbs.), carry, climb, and walk to job sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Commercial lawn mower and small power equipment experience preferred.
Essential Duties Summary :
Duties include mowing grass, edging and blowing sidewalks, pruning shrubs, mulching ornamental beds, installing plants, and other jobs as required.
Will require the operation of riding mowers and small power equipment.
May drive a truck and some light construction equipment, involving responsibilities
for safe and efficient operation.
May apply herbicides with backpack sprayer.
May assist in installation and maintenance of irrigation systems.
