DESCRIPTION:
Key responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
• Providing counseling and case management to all students who have been placed on academic probation
• Offering support and guidance to meet each student's individual needs
• Referring students to support services (Palisano Center for Academic for Academic Success, Counseling, Career Center, etc.)
• Maintaining contact with student's academic advisor and/ or faculty as needed
• Following-up on any early alerts and/ or mid-term warnings that students may receive
• Serving as a committee member on the Advisement and Retention Council
QUALIFICATIONS:
• BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN EDUCATION, COUNSELING, PSYCHOLOGY, OR OTHER RELATED FIELD
• MINIMUM 1-2 YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE
• MASTER'S DEGREE IN RELEVANT FIELD PREFERRED
• KNOWLEDGE OR EXPERIENCE WITH CAMS OR EDUCATION DATABASE PREFERRED
