MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A Master’s degree in Physical Therapy together with two to four years of closely related experience in higher education required. Incumbents are required to have demonstrated advanced knowledge and abilities in the following areas:
- Professional competence in clinical or educational administration experience;
- Clinical and academic instruction and course design;
- Experience in human resources management;
- Methods of testing and assessing student performance in clinical settings;
- Comprehensive familiarity with accreditation procedures and strategies
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- A demonstrated understanding of the community college mission, philosophy, and student population;
- APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direction of the Program Director of Physical Therapy Assistant Program, the Clinical Coordinator directs the clinical practice portion of courses in PTA. The incumbent’s work includes both clinical program and administration and teaching of students in the clinical setting. The position has substantial cooperative relationships with faculty, administration, students, staff and the public. The incumbent is expected to represent the College is a positive manner and to collaborate with academic and student services departments to contribute to the retention of students. MINIMUM SALARY: $57,739 approximate annual salary and full benefits package.
