The School of Social Work at St. Ambrose University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in Social Work, beginning July 1, 2013. Responsibilities include student advising, university committee service, scholarship, and ability to teach across the Social Work curriculum. This MSW-only program has a single concentration in Empowerment Social Work Practice. The position requires an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program and an earned doctorate in social work or related field. Applications from ABD’s will be considered if graduation will be in Summer 2013. A minimum of two years post-MSW experience is required and evidence of effective teaching is essential.
