The College of Arts and Sciences, General Education Program at National Louis University seeks a qualified professional to fill an adjunct teaching position for the following undergraduate course in English Composition:
LAE102 English Composition II
This is the second in a sequence of composition courses. Students will continue to practice expository writing, persuasive writing and research work. The class time is equally split between the classroom and online work. Counts in the Written Communication Area of General Education Requirements. 5 quarter hours.
This course is offered on Tuesday and Friday from 12:00-2:00 PM at our Chicago campus, beginning January 8, 2013.
Master's degree with 30 additional credit hours in appropriate discipline is required. Earned terminal degree in English or a related field is preferred. Highly qualified candidates will have experience teaching a diverse group of adults in face-to-face, online, and/or blended formats in a four-year college or university environment. Experience with the Desire 2 Learn (D2L) online course management system, and working in diverse P-12 schools is also highly desirable.
