The Team Leader is responsible for the management and day-to-day supervision of the server management team staff. This team provides infrastructure support in the areas of servers, hardware, network operating systems, disk/storage technologies, administration, and application implementation of a large-scale, distributed computing environment. The role of the Team Leader is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects and system changes according to plan. This position will define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. This position will also facilitate the adoption of new or improved processes and/or procedures across the Information Services teams for change management. This position will oversee the development and deployment of change management methodologies and procedures to guide the process.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Required
Certifications in project and change management preferred
Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the information technologies field.
Minimum of four (4) years of supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong project management skills with proven experience in project management and change management practices.
Experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of change management facilitation programs and process review.
Competent and proficient understanding of Microsoft enterprise server and HP storage platforms (Exchange, Active Directory, SharePoint, VMware and Citrix).
Experience with ADFS, SharePoint preferred.
Competent and proficient understanding of LAN/WAN technologies and software tools for performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
The ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
