Account Representative-TWC Skills Development Fund, Manufacturing Consortium (Temporary/Grant Funded) (#9141) UP
Job Functions
Analyze, plan, develop, implement and organize schedule of corporate college offerings consistent with client needs, approved courses, contact hours and CEUs
Work with content specialist, implementation manager and business training consultants to plan curriculum for employers
Manage ongoing activities critical to success of corporate college offerings including instructor assignment and load
Identify appropriate instructors from current part-time instructor database
Contract with part-time training instructors or vendors for training courses
Create courses via course information form and Texas Workforce Commission’s Workforce Education Course Manual guidelines
Maintain course implementation budget under a profit center guidelines.
Maintain costs of training within prescribed budget
Maintain fiscal resources allocated for training
Work with employers and implementation manager to use appropriate data and information to evaluate effectiveness of training and to ensure training is meeting employer/employee needs
Recommend software, equipment and materials for upcoming corporate college training needs
Assist implementation manager with course and section building
Attend all program activities as needed, including weekend and evening events
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher plus two years of experience in sales or related experience or Associate’ degree plus four years of experience in sales or related experience;
Ability to communicate complex information in a professional manner (written and verbal);
High attention to detail;
Computer literacy, experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database software.
