The School of Health Professions and Education invites applications for a 10-month, full-time, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor with an August 1, 2013 start date.
Summary:
Tenure track position in the field of childhood education and literacy.
Responsibilities:
To teach undergraduate and graduate courses in childhood education and literacy. Advise students. Scholarly activity and service expected.
Possible student teaching supervision
Qualifications:
Ph.D. or Ed.D. degree strongly preferred, ABD may be considered
Experience with P-12 and higher education. Classroom experience. Teaching online a plus.
Knowledge of Common Core Teaching Standards. New York State licensure requirements. Instructional technology. Multicultural education and foundations of inclusion.
