The Department of Law and Government is seeking a faculty member who is able to offer courses in Criminal Justice Studies; has a strong commitment to undergraduate instruction; is knowledgeable about current innovative pedagogies; and has experience with curriculum development.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Teaching undergraduate courses;
• Participating in the development and implementation of a baccalaureate degree programme in Criminal Justice Studies;
• Participating in student recruitment and advisement;
• Engaging in research and scholarly activities;
• Serving on departmental, School and college-wide committees.
QUALIFICATIONS
• An earned PhD in Criminal Justice or a related field from an accredited institution;
• Excellent tertiary-level teaching experience;
• Evidence of research and scholarship;
• Evidence of programme and course development and implementation.
Applicants with a master’s degree in Criminal Justice and a minimum of five years tertiary-level teaching experience may be considered.
Salary Grade:
Doctoral Degree: $42,160 - $71,410
Master's Degree: $37,660 - $63,310
