The University of Florida’s College of Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry in the beautiful college town of Gainesville, Florida is currently recruiting for a Psychiatrist with specialty training in anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and other eating disorders to fill a faculty position in the Adult Psychiatry and Addiction Divisions. This is a full-time, non-tenure or tenure track position, title Chief and Clinical Assistant/Associate/Professor. The individual serving in this position will assume leadership of the University of Florida’s College of Medicine’s inpatient psychiatric hospital program for adult patients with Anorexia and Bulimia Nervosa. This Clinical leadership and service position provides inpatient, outpatient, and residential care in the department’s Adult Outpatient, Eating Disorders Recovery Center, inpatient services and help expand our comprehensive program for patients with eating disorders at the University of Florida.
A post-health assessment is required.
Minimum Requirements: Must be Board Certified and/or Board Eligible M.D. or equivalent in Psychiatry, with a demonstrated record of clinical excellence and teaching interest in an academic medical center and able to obtain a Florida Medical License.
