J. Robert Beyster Fellowships - Louis O. Kelso Fellowships - Related Fellowships

For the study of employee stock ownership, profit sharing, broad-based stock options, and broadened ownership of capital in the corporation and in society

The Fellows Program invites applications from doctoral students, recent Ph.D. graduates, pre-tenure scholars and post-tenure scholars affiliated with U.S. institutions in economics, finance, history, law, management/business/human resource management/labor and employment relations, philosophy, psychology, political science, public policy, and sociology for the 2013-2014 academic year. Fellows may be in residence at their own University or visit Rutgers. Two Beyster Fellowships in the amount of $25,000 each will be offered. Several Louis O. Kelso Fellowships in the amount of $12,500 or $25,000 will be offered to scholars studying the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) as well as approaches whereby individual citizens may have access to broadened capital ownership, with special attention to research on the general questions that Kelso’s writings have addressed. Stipends can be used for research, travel, or living expenses. Lawyers and policy experts with professional degrees and experience are also encouraged to apply. Applicants are considered for all related fellowships. The deadline for email applications is December 31, 2012 with decisions by March 15, 2013.
