Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Project Director for Kentucky's System to Enhance Early Development (KY SEED) initiative, this individual will function as the Marketing/Communications Specialist and as a member of the administrative team. Responsibilities include: Identifying social marketing/communications needs; organizing and coordinating all social marketing/communication activities; developing the KY SEED social marketing/communications plan in conjunction with a Social Marketing/Communications Committee; communicating regularly with community and media representatives through telephone, e-mail, meetings, events, etc.; participating in activities to build relationships with partner agencies, youth, families, media, health care providers, policymakers, and others.; working with evaluation staff and key stakeholders to (1) identify outcomes and other compelling data that can be shared with the media, community partners, families, youth, and other relevant audiences and (2) develop mechanisms to track and evaluate social marketing activities; and serve as a resource to state and local implementation teams on culturally and linguistically competent marketing, communications, and outreach strategies and practices.
Minimum Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required
Minimum Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Minimum Experience Qualifications: Three years of experience is required
